Healthy breakfast : Blueberry Oatmeal

Do you eat the same thing every single day? Are you looking to mix up your breakfast rotation?

I have a great recipe for hearty and filling oatmeal with blueberries and lots of other good stuff! :)





Most important is that you don't need lots of cooking skills, time or that much ingredients. All you need is:


- 1 cup oats ( I use gluten free oats, you can use any oats)

- 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk ( you can use regular milk or water )

- 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries ( if you have fresh blueberries go ahead and use them too)


additional:  I use coconut flakes, chia seeds, hemp seeds, cacao nibs and cinnamon or protein powder for extra energy in the morning ( and you will feel fuller )


Add oats to the milk (or water) and stir it on the medium. When it's started to boil, add berries and stir so that the oats don't stick to the pan. When the oats soak up all the milk, remove from heat and add protein powder. I then add it to the bowl and add some coconut flakes, chia / hemp seeds and cacao nibs.

You can add some almond butter or honey if you like it more sweet.





Oatmeal is so comforting and delicious and above all it's really good for you. There are tons of different ways to make oats and that is the main reason why I love it so much. I just can't get bored of them.
